Rémy and Uta have each had a classical hotel career before becoming owners. Rémy is a French national and trained as a chef. He left France in 1996 and worked as a chef for the French Embassy in London & Prague. He then managed large 5* hotel kitchen operations for the Intercontinental in Vienna and Bora Bora. Uta was born in Germany and spent her childhood years in Canada. Afterwards she studied at a Swiss hotel school, went to university in Oxford and spent many years with Hilton.
Remy and Uta’s goal is that their guests leave their daily stresses outside of the Hotel and come to enjoy their “savoir vivre” esprit of Life in the Country House. “Slow-food” with mainly regional and bio products are Rémy’s forte, and even the room amenities are a high quality Bio-label. The carpets in the corridors have been furnished with a recycled material made of fishernets, rescued from the oceans ofcourse. Come in and feel welcomes by your hosts – Bienvenue chez nous!
